Interest in Korean skincare has grown rapidly over the past year thanks to viral TikTok K-Beauty trends like #skinflooding, #snailmucin, and #glassskin – with the latter receiving 32.4m views in the UK in the last 7 days alone.

In fact, over the past 12 months, Google Trends has recorded breakout searches for ‘best Korean skincare’ and a huge 170 percent increase in searches for ‘Beauty of Joseon’ –  speaking to the huge upswing of interest in K-Beauty generally – but also the need for more guidance on which K-beauty favourites skincare fans should prioritise.
