Micro ring hair is a great option for most hair types as they are extremely long lasting, lasting around 6 – 12 months before a new set of extensions should be re applied. Maintenance/refit appointments are required every 6 – 10 weeks to adjust the micro rings back into their original place which takes around 2 – 3 hours.
Keratin Bondhair extensions are the smallest and most discreet way to add hair extensions, and they are great for fragile and fine hair. Keratin bonds will last approximately 12 weeks but are not reusable, so no refits are possible with this method of hair extensions.
Tapes are one of the most popular extensions due to their fast application time and are ideal for most hair types such as fine – medium hair, as tapes lie flat, giving the client a seamless, natural appearance.
Tape hair extensions should last around 4 – 6 weeks as they naturally move down the hair and will need to be repositioned closer to the root which takes around 2 – 3 hours.
