Toastie Takeover at The Wigmore

The Wigmore, the modern British pub located at The Langham and overseen by Michel Roux, is excited to launch its second guest chef Toastie Takeover series, in honour of the pub’s famous XXL Stovetop 3 Cheese & Mustard Toastie. A firm favourite on the menu since the pub opened in 2017, the new guest chef creations offer inspired takes on the ultimate comfort food.
Each guest chef toastie will be available for one month, and £1 from each toastie sold will be donated to the hospitality mental health charity, The Burnt Chef Project.

First in the series, launching on 2 September, is José Pizarro, owner of renowned Spanish restaurants; José Tapas, Pizarro, José Pizarro at the Royal Academy and José Pizarro Broadgate, as well as the newly opened Lolo. Inspired by his Spanish heritage, José has created a Manchego, Jamón Ibérico and Tomato Jam Toastie which will be available at The Wigmore until 30 September.
Up next in the series will be Mexican chef Adriana Cavita, Chef Patron and owner of Cavita, who will be sharing a unique toastie creation throughout the month of October. Indian-born restauranteur Asma Khan, chef and owner of Darjeeling Express, will round off the series with a takeover throughout November, just in time for Diwali.
All toasties are priced at £13.50 and are available for a month, alongside The Wigmore’s signature foot-long creation, which features Montgomery Cheddar, Ogleshield and Raclette alongside Dijon mustard, red onion, cornichons and chives.
