Jim Beam is an American brand of bourbon whiskey produced in Clermont, Kentucky, by Beam Suntory. Jacob Beam was a farmer who sold his first barrels of corn whiskey in 1975, then known as the ‘Old Jake Beam Sour Mash’. Since 1795, seven generations of the Beam family have been involved in the whiskey production, contributing to its award-winning reputation that it is known for today.
