Astigmatism is an eye condition that affects your vision. It makes your sight blurry both at a distance and close up. To see something perfectly, the cornea in your eye should be shaped like a football. Corneas with astigmatism are shaped more like a rugby ball with pointed ends. This is called corneal astigmatism.
