It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Sea Containers London, the iconic luxury lifestyle hotel anchored on the South Bank of the River Thames.
From delectable wining to heartwarming dining, the hotel is the capital’s ultimate gastronomic destination for ringing in the festive season. Whether you’re gathering with family, friends, or colleagues, there’s something to suit every palate — and plenty to lift the spirits by the riverside. Festive menus are available from 17th November.
Groups can come together at Sea Containers Restaurant for an indulgent Festive Feast, a sharing-style menu brimming with hearty seasonal dishes. Starters include cured meats, burrata with winter tomatoes and olives, and heritage beetroot with goat’s cheese and walnuts. For mains, diners can choose from forest mushroom tortelloni, cranberry-glazed Norfolk turkey, or 32-day dry-aged Boston rib. To finish, desserts include warm mince pies, Bramley apple crumble, and a decadent black forest chocolate mousse.
The restaurant will also be open on Christmas Day, serving a generous four-course meal in a cosy riverside setting — the perfect way to take the pressure off cooking and simply savour the day.
For something a little lighter, the Christmas Canapé Menu offers an irresistible selection of cold, hot, and sweet bites. From devilled eggs and pigs in blankets to delicate chocolate truffles, each is designed to pair beautifully with chilled Champagne, festive cocktails, or fine wines and beers.
Guests can also toast the season at Sea Containers London’s two award-winning destination bars. On the ground floor, Lyaness delivers a design-led experience and an innovative cocktail list crafted by the legendary Mr Lyan. Upstairs on the twelfth floor, 12th Knot offers a more relaxed vibe with its open-plan layout and heated rooftop terrace. With breathtaking views of the Thames and city skyline, guests can enjoy a curated selection of wine, Champagne, and cocktails alongside a tempting menu of small plates.
