With Shrove Tuesday (13th February) fast approaching, we wanted to share our top picks of the best places to eat pancakes in London. Check these pancake flipping favourites, including Pancake Day specials at The Colony Grill Room at The Beaumont Hotel and Nessa, Soho, and signature pancakes at Saison at Raffles London at The OWO, and Mortimer House Kitchen in Fitzrovia, which opens with a new Italian venture next month.
The Beaumont

On Tuesday 13th February, The Colony Grill Room at The Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair, will be celebrating Pancake Day with a variety of special dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner.
For breakfast, guests can enjoy The Colony’s signature stack of American-style pancakes with a choice of maple syrup and bacon or sour cream and cherries.
For lunch and dinner, there’s a savory twist with the CFC pancakes – Colony Fried Chicken – with maple syrup (£22) and Crêpes Suzette, featuring Grand Marnier flambée and Papua New Guinea vanilla ice cream (£14).
Nessa, Soho

Modern bistro Nessa, Soho will introduce a special buttermilk pancake served with rhubarb and custard and a sprinkle of ginger crumble topping (£14). The dish will be available every day from 10th February on the breakfast menu, as well as featuring as a special dessert for lunch and dinner on Pancake Day.
Mortimer House Kitchen, Fitzrovia

This Pancake Day, guests at Mortimer House Kitchen – a new Italian venture headed up by executive chef Tom Cenci in the heart of Fitzrovia – can enjoy the signature pancake with ricotta, Amalfi lemon curd and maple syrup (£14). The dish will be available for breakfast and as a dessert after lunch and dinner on Tuesday 13th February.
Saison at Raffles London at The OWO

At Saison – the fresh, elegant take on the traditional all-day brasserie at Raffles London at The OWO from globally renowned chef Mauro Colagreco – breakfast diners can enjoy a Buckwheat Pancake (£20) with berries, chantilly and a lemon marmalade made with citrus from Menton, the French coastal town that is home to Mauro’s three Michelin-starred restaurant Mirazur.
