If you have caught a glimpse of Channel 4’s brand new Made in Chelsea: Sydney, a spin off of the hit TV show, there is no doubt you too are craving a trip to sunny Australia. Fear not, as you can live your best Made in Chelsea life with this MIC guide to Sydney.

  1. Catch a wave at Bondi Beach

No trip to Sydney is complete without a visit to the iconic Bondi Beach. The stars of Made in Chelsea were spotted enjoying a kick about in Sydney’s glorious winter sun. Some of the cast gave surfing a go whilst others explored the beach-side town’s many cocktail bars and coffee joints. Be sure to take a trip to the iconic Icebergs swimming pool for a postcard perfect photo opp or head to Icebergs restaurant, one of Sydney’s most sought after eateries offering amazing views and even better food.

  1. Party the night away at Bungalow 8

Knowing how to party in style, the Made in Chelsea gang filmed one of their drama-filled nights out at Bungalow 8. Whether you’re after a long lunch, a cocktail-filled afternoon or dancing into the early hours of the morning, Bungalow 8 is an idyllic destination any time of the day, all week long. Escape the fast-paced surroundings of Sydney and party like a true Chelsea local outside on the sun-drenched balcony with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour.

  1. See the sites on a champagne harbour tour

For million dollar views of The Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, the cast took to the water on an extravagant yacht trip to explore Sydney Harbour. With the drinks free-flowing and Instagram opportunities aplenty, any well-heeled crowd would feel at home on this luxurious cruise. Sydney Harbour superyacht The Jackson is adding some sparkle to its summer harbour cruises with the launch of its Veuve Cliquot In The Sun partnership. Departing select Saturdays in January, February and March 2024, the four-hour onboard experience will include glasses of Champagne, Veuve-inspired canapés, a deluxe oyster bar and live DJs.

  1. Stay in five-star luxury

During their trip, the Made in Chelsea cast stayed in sea-view in Bondi Beach. Sydney boasts a whole range of luxurious accommodation that would be fit for any luxury loving visitor. Head to Capella,  where the heritage-listed Edwardian golden sandstone walls have been transformed into a luxurious five-star, 192-guestroom hotel complete with a contemporary design aesthetic. The hotel boasts three food and beverage options, including a signature restaurant, Brasserie 1930 and McRae Bar, a fitness centre, yoga platform, auriga spa, and swimming and vitality pools.

  1. Go celeb spotting at Sussudio

Made in Chelsea’s resident troublemaker Sam Prince and the glamorous Olivia Bently were seen hanging out at Sussudio for a catchup and a cocktail. Where music and style meets a night-out to remember, Sussudio is a chic hideaway, paying homage to the elegant Parisian disco clubs of the 90s, capturing the essence of that era’s glamour and sophistication. Sussudio welcomes Sydney’s elite crowd of A-lsiters, drawing a cult-like following of people who appreciate the finer things in life. Exceeding exclusivity, Sussudio is the perfect place to spot a celeb on a night out and a must-visit for any MIC fan.

  1. Eat like a queen at Hugo’s

As seen in Olivia Bentley and Ruby Adler’s recent Instagram posts, the two besties headed to Manly for the dinner of dreams at Hugo’s. Hugo’s is a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike in the Manly area with a friendly vibe and refined interiors. Boasting extraordinary harbourside views, fresh food made with local produce, be sure to try the world-famous Sydney rock oyster or a famous Hugo’s pizza, made in their wood-fired pizza oven. Step off the sand and into the bar or settle on the deck for a beautiful sunset dinner.

  1. Rest and relax at the Crown Spa

We all know that the cast of Made in Chelsea love to indulge in a girls (or boys) trip to the spa for a good old gossip and most importantly, a glass of bubbly. If there’s one thing the Aussies know how to do well it’s relax, and luckily enough Sydney is home to a wealth of spas across the city. Arguably Sydney’s most prestigious hotel and the city’s first six-star property, The Crown is home to an incredible spa and wellness centre. Relaxing and pristine surroundings allow guests to completely immerse themselves in their wellness journey. Drawing inspiration from the serene landscape of Sydney harbour, the interiors reflect the landscape and vast waterways located around Crown.

  1. Go on a date at Barangaroo House

In episode one, ex-lovers Rez and Ruby were filmed catching up at the iconic Barangaroo House over a glass of champagne. Sitting pretty on the harbour’s edge where land meets water, Barangaroo House is a three-level hive each with its own dining and drinks adventure. Whether you’re looking for casual drinks and a tasty waterside meal or sunset cocktails at Sydney’s best rooftop bar, Barangaroo House has something for everyone.
