Plus & Minus: Modern Alcohol Free Wines for Sober October

Australian wine company, Fourth Wave Wine, is delighted to announce the arrival of Plus & Minus, zero alcohol wines in the UK. Currently available to purchase from online non-alcoholic retailer ZeroZilchZip, Plus & Minus wines have been hand-made using one of the best methods available to the zero alcohol category, with the absence of heat in the wine making process which enables the team to ensure that the wines integrity, flavour and quality is maintained.

Each wine has been crafted without the use of any artificial sweeteners but does see the addition of grape skin extract (GSE). GSE is rich in naturally occurring antioxidants, delivering more of those benefits that can already be found in red wine but without the alcohol.

The Plus & Minus range of wines, which includes winner of the ‘Consumer Choice-Best Rosé Wine’ at the Mid-Low-No Alcohol Awards 2023, have been uniquely hand-crafted using only high-quality grapes from premium, dry-grown South Australian vineyards, resulting in vibrant and full-flavoured wines even once the process of removing the alcohol has been completed.

Plus Minus Non Alcoholic Shiraz Red Wine 2022, RRP £10

You’ll find classic Shiraz aromas in this Plus Minus Shiraz, highlighted by dark berries, hints of chocolate and vanilla with hints of oak. As hints of vanilla and unexpected sweetness make their appearance, feel good about this classic South Australian alcohol-free wine.

Plus Minus Premium Non Alcoholic Rosé Wine 2021 RRP £14.40 

Made with high-quality 100 per cent Pinot Noir grapes from the 2021 Adelaide Hill vintage, this rosé presents as perfectly pale in the glass and full of red fruit aromas with savoury hints. The palate delivers bright berry flavours with a hint of sweetness and the influence of tannins filling out the dry finish.

Plus Minus Premium Chardonnay is from the outstanding 2021 Adelaide Hill’s vintage. Pale yellow in appearance and bursting with vital fruit aromas of stone fruit, melon and crisp apple with a hint of nutty integrated oak.

Plus Minus Pinot Grigio is typical of the style, on the nose it’s varietal and has aromas of pear, apple, and citrus with a slight hint of floral characters. The palate is bursting of citrus underpinned by balanced sweetness and acidity.

Plus Minus Blanc de Blancs is a blend of Chardonnay, Semillon and Colombard grapes with a vibrant nose of citrus and apple with a sweet fruit lift.
